Have played before. Rage quit when some mutually exclusive questlines got locked and I think I might have missed something that would no longer be avaliable. This is BS for someone who only wants to play once and get 100% of it. I don't want to play twice or get screwed, otherwise I wouldn've created the thread at all. Also it really ain't hard to make a spoiler free walkthrough. One just have to address all missable side quests/items per map location for organization sake.Address mutually exclusive quest paths in two stages.Stage 1: Small note like 'Save this your game before starting this quest, it's a mutually exclusive quest chain line'Stage 2: Explain on minimal details as possible about the quest, inside a spoiler. Could be as simple as 'Quest X will lock quest Y' That would do.Stage 2 is 100% optional, although would be useful to know which quest will lock what, for a better planning and less time wasting in general. What's hard about the above?I have found walkthroughs for gwent cards, got one for misable quests (don't know if it's complete), I just need something to cover which quest will lock what. Sometimes you need a specific condition or one or more quests may have different choices that must be achieved in order to unlock them and they cannot be done in a single run. This is just the reality for most games today. Do a first run of any game in order to learn all you can from that run and then use a guide to see what you missed.

Spoilers won't be that crucial the second time around and so they're mostly unnecessary. Plan on doing only a single run of the game, of any game, then honestly, why the hell care about what you may have missed. If the game doesn't interest you to play it a second time for whatever other reason may exist such as multiple possible endings or various choices that may be may along the way, then why should missed quests or 100% completion matter in the least? What's hard about the above?I have found walkthroughs for gwent cards, got one for misable quests (don't know if it's complete), I just need something to cover which quest will lock what.Nothing is hard about it. It's just an old game now and nothing new will be created for it. I mean on the web site side of things. There's just no interest in taking the time to do a detailed albeit spoiler-free 100% walkthrough for a game this old and the more time that passes, the less likely this is to change. If you look closely at most of the web sites devoted to providing information on Gwent cards alone, most of them are outdated with information that was true back when the game was first released but there have been numerous changes since then thanks to patches along the way.
So not even those are 100% reliable. Originally posted by:Taunting, teasing, making fun, advices that goes against the thread. People have answered you, in a rather civil manner, I might add. If you don't like what they had to offer, then that's fine but no one here has tried to get your goat by making fun of you or providing information that went against the point of your thread. No guide is complete. Most of them copied and pasted information from Prima Games' guide which itself was filled with inaccuracies and some misinformation since it was based on an alpha version of the game. Changes were made to the final game version on launch.Any new game sparks the interest of players and that's when the most information is readily available.

If you don't want spoilers, then forge ahead playing alone but risk missing some things. There aren't any alternatives other than finding a friedn who's willing to talk you through the entire game but that's hardly practical nor fair to the friend.
They had to play it on their own and so should you. Mistakes will be made. That's what a second run is usually for.Yes, it is a huge game and will take well over 200 hours to complete, not counting the two expansions. If playing it more than once is not your thing, then you bought the wrong game.
It's meant to be played more than once. Most RPGs are.
That's the whole point of offering the player choices. Less so or important in a game like W3, more so in Fallout or Elder Scrolls games. The choice of factions tend to be mutally exclusive. Pick one and you lock yourself out of another. To join them all, you need multiple playthroughs. But with a game such as W3, there are over 36 different possible outcomes for various characters throughout the game and 3 different possible endings. Hearts of Stone has 2 different possible endings with various other choices that affect characters up for grabs as well. And Blood and Wine has 3 different endings too, along with choices that affect various characters.
Most of those cannot be achieved in a single playthrough. Such is life.Go ahead and bite my head off too now for trying to explain a basic fact of RPG games. And you're welcome, by the way.
